Wilmington Public Library commissioned w/Purpose in 2020 to help the library rethink its furniture and general space planning needs. The scope included reference spaces, art spaces, and youth areas. The project needed seating, peer tables, stools, benches, art hangers and flex seating options for library staff and patrons. The Wilmington Public Library requested commerical furniture that was seamless, durable, and “wired” to meet the public’s growing needs for flexiblity and comfort. We considered new lines that would be easy to clean and maintain. W/Pupose worked with furniture manufactures from Japan, Italy, Canada, and the United States to curate an interior showcase that met our clients expectations.
